Privacy Policy

Snazzy Apps Limited (“Snazzy Apps”, “we”, “us”) builds native utilities for Apple platforms. This policy explains how we handle information across two very different things: our apps, and this website (snazzyapps.dev). We’ve separated them because they’re not the same.

Our apps

Our apps are built so that “Data Not Collected” on the App Store privacy label is the literal truth, not a careful interpretation:

• No analytics SDKs and no crash-reporting services.
• No third-party SDKs where avoidable.
• Your files and content never leave your device.
• Apps make no network calls except where a specific feature requires it — and where that happens, it’s described on the app’s own page.
• We can’t see how you use our apps, because we don’t collect that information.

This website

The website collects some limited information, like most websites do. Here’s exactly what, and why.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, which pages they view, roughly where they’re from (country), and what device or browser they use. It’s privacy-first by design: it uses no cookies, doesn’t fingerprint or track you across sites, and doesn’t build a profile of you. We use it only to understand interest in our apps, never to identify you.

Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools

We verify the site with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. These provide aggregated, anonymised statistics about how the site performs in search results. They do not add tracking to your visit beyond what those search engines already do.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server and log data (including IP addresses and request details) to deliver and secure the website.

Contacting us

If you email us at [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or tracking. Our analytics are cookieless, so there’s no cookie banner to click through. Cloudflare may set strictly-necessary cookies only if its security systems need to verify a request (for example, during an attack); these aren’t used to track you.

Who we use and share with

We don’t sell your personal information. We use the following providers, who may process data on our behalf:

• Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, and cookieless web analytics
• Google — Search Console (aggregate search performance only)
• Microsoft — Bing Webmaster Tools (aggregate search performance only)

International transfers

Some of these providers (including Google, Microsoft and Cloudflare) process data outside New Zealand, including in the United States. By using the site you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.

How long we keep information

Aggregate analytics are retained by Cloudflare for up to six months. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to respond to you.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 — and the UK/EU GDPR if you’re located there — you can ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we’ll help. Because our analytics don’t collect personal information, there’s nothing there tied to you to opt out of.

If you’re not satisfied with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz). If you’re in the UK or EU, you may instead complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The website and our apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “last updated” date at the top of this page.
